Throughout June, Enact employees participated in their annual Month of Service, dedicating their time and talents to organizations making a difference across our community. As part of that effort, Enact team members joined Habitat for Humanity Greater Raleigh on the construction site to help build affordable homes alongside future homeowners and fellow volunteers. For Enact employees, the experience also provided a tangible connection to the company's purpose. By investing their time in the community, they are helping create opportunities for affordable homeownership and contributing to the same goal that drives Enact every day: helping people buy a house and keep it their home.

“It’s really great to have something that ties us to what we do and gives back to the community.” Phil Snow, Application Development Manager and member of the Board of Directors for the Enact Foundation.

Enact has been a corporate partner of Habitat Greater Raleigh for more than 40 years. Not only have they contributed volunteer time on site, but they also support the mission with financial contributions to fund the homes they are coming out to build. Their most recent support is in connection to Habitat Greater Raleigh’s Pride Build.

“This is a perfect melding of our values with what we’re doing here today,” said Evan Stolove, General Counsel at Enact and Habitat Greater Raleigh Board Chair. “When you think excellence, improvement, connection… we’re here today connecting with our peers, connecting with our community. And when you think about the work that the foundation is doing, trying to build stronger, more inclusive communities, we’re doing that as well.”

While hammers and hard hats may not be part of their everyday work, Enact employees brought enthusiasm, teamwork and a shared commitment to making a positive impact while building at the Old Poole Place build site in Raleigh. For Enact employees, the experience also provided a tangible connection to the company's purpose. By investing their time in the community, they help advance opportunities for affordable homeownership and support Enact's mission of helping more people buy a house and keep it their home.

By investing their time in the community, corporate teams help raise awareness of the need for affordable homeownership and demonstrate the power of working together to create lasting change. Look through all of the photos from the build day below!
