We can’t believe it’s already been a week since we wrapped this year's Home Builders Blitz! From May 28–June 5, ten for-profit home builders alongside Habitat for Humanity Greater Raleigh partnered with subcontractors and other industry leaders to build six affordable Habitat for Humanity homes from frame to finish in just one week. These homes also kick off the construction of Habitat Greater Raleigh's newest neighborhood, Hope Grove.

Blitz Week
Months of coordination came together over the course of the week, as big construction milestones were met each day. Walls were raised within hours on day one, drywall and painting were taking place by mid-week and landscaping brought the homes together in time for the dedication celebration.
Home Builders Blitz Mixer
The evening of the last day of construction, guests were invited to celebrate the successful completion of the Home Builders Blitz. Speakers included the Town of Garner Mayor Buddy Gupton and Home Builders Blitz Founder Tom Gipson.
Home Builders Blitz Dedication Ceremony
To close out the Blitz, we held a Dedication Ceremony to celebrate the hard work of our new homeowners, builders and supporters. Builders and homeowners exchanged gifts and words of gratitude before families were officially welcomed home. With the event concluded, six families are now able to move into their new homes and begin the next chapter of their lives.
