Habitat Greater Raleigh’s Home Preservation program offers assistance with common repairs such as leaking roofs, faulty wiring and weatherization. We also provide modifications to improve safety and accessibility for residents. Repairing issues with existing houses allows us to combat the affordable housing crisis by ensuring that families can remain in their homes and communities.
Applicants must be residents of Wake County who have lived in their home for at least two years and are up to date on property taxes. Homeowners must agree to remain in the repaired home for at least three years.
Habitat Greater Raleigh has joined with Preserving Home and other local providers to streamline applications. Preserving Home handles all application intake. Once selected, Habitat will contact the homeowner directly.
