Habitat Greater Raleigh staff joined affiliates from around the world at Habitat for Humanity’s 2026 Affiliate Conference last week in Atlanta, Ga.

Habitat is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, marking five decades of working alongside families and communities to build and advocate for a world where everyone has a safe, affordable place to live.

Throughout the week, the team connected with fellow affiliates, exchanged ideas and explored innovative approaches to addressing housing challenges.

The conference showcased the many ways Habitat affiliates are finding new paths to make a lasting impact in their communities.

Staff also had the opportunity to lead tabletop discussions, sharing insights and ideas with fellow professionals from across the network.

Throughout the week, we were reminded that this work is only possible because of the dedicated staff, supporters, volunteers, donors, partners and community members who stand alongside us.

Thank you for helping us build homes, communities and hope! As Habitat for Humanity celebrates its 50th anniversary, we’re proud to be part of a movement working to expand access to safe, affordable housing.
